The Territorial Planning Laboratory (LaPlan) was installed in 2014 as a platform for projects and initiatives of the Postgraduate Programme in Territorial Planning and Management (PPGT). Since then, it has been hosting both graduate and undergraduate research, linked to the PPGT and the Bachelor in Territorial Planning (BPT), which occur from the extension and research projects made possible through external resources, partnerships with other research institutions and with the social community.
LaPlan aims to promote that undergraduate and postgraduate students interact with advanced technical and research activities, and that its infrastructure, equipment and collection are available to a greater number of users, expanding the research and extension activities related to the teaching of territorial planning.
LaPlan’s infrastructure currently includes
– Space area of 75 m² in Block Delta on the São Bernardo do Campo campus of UFABC;
– This website, a Youtube channel and a digital platform for dissemination of the MacroAmb project.
LaPlan’s two main research lines are: the Territorial Planning Field; and Territory and Nature: planning and management. In these lines, there are several research and extension projects developed.
